In this role, you’ll play a key part in the design, deployment, and governance of our cloud infrastructure. You’ll take a strategic and hands‑on approach to building secure, scalable, and highly available environments. You’ll thrive if you enjoy solving complex problems, working cross‑functionally and delivering real impact. As our newest CloudOps Engineer, you’ll: Design, support and optimise cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and high performance. Support HA/DR and backup strategy implementation across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. Own cloud governance: security, compliance, FinOps, and operational excellence. Implement observability tools like Datadog and CloudWatch. Strengthen cloud security (IAM, encryption, vulnerability management). Foster a culture of DevOps excellence. Ensure industry compliance such as SOC2 Type II and drive continuous improvement. What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who is a proactive, self‑driven leader who thrives in ambiguity, communicates technical concepts with clarity, and inspires confidence while guiding decisions in high‑stakes situations. You’ll also bring: 3-5+ years in CloudOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE Expertise in AWS (preferred) and Azure cloud environments Strong Linux and Windows Server management (including Active Directory) Proven FinOps and governance implementation experience Experience in IaC, scripting (TypeScript, Python, PowerShell), and CI/CD pipelines Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Why You’ll Love Working Here At Quartex, we know even minor issues can lead to major problems in the industries we serve.
