PoolQuip is Tasmania's leading retail swimming pool shop, with a dedicated service team and a reputation for making pool ownership "less hassle, more fun." As we continue to grow, we're looking for a results-driven Store Manager to lead our Hobart team and drive business performance. The Role As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our retail store, leading a small team, and ensuring outstanding customer service. You’ll play a key role in achieving sales targets, managing inventory, and motivating staff to deliver their best. Key Responsibilities Drive sales growth by delivering exceptional customer experiences Lead, mentor, and manage a team of retail and service staff Monitor and manage business performance (sales, KPIs, inventory turnover) Oversee inventory management and stock control (Retail Express system) Implement store promotions and merchandising Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally Maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming store environment About You Proven sales experience in a retail or related environment Experience managing staff, including rostering and performance management Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Results-oriented, with a focus on business growth and customer satisfaction Tech-savvy (comfortable with POS/inventory systems) Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work autonomously What We Offer Supportive team and positive workplace culture Competitive salary with performance incentives Opportunity to grow with a respected Tasmanian business Ongoing training and professional development We require candidates to have 1-2 years of retail management experience.
