We are currently seeking a qualified Crane Operator to support our workshop operations by operating the TIDD28 pick‑and‑carry crane, 12t and 18t Frana. This role is ideal for a safety‑conscious and proactive operator who can support movement of heavy components and contribute to workshop flow when crane work is not required. Key Responsibilities Operate the cranes safely and efficiently within the workshop and yard. Move fabricated components, steel materials, and equipment in line with workshop scheduling. Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure safe and timely crane operations. Maintain crane logs and assist with basic pre‑start and equipment checks. Support with general material movements or workshop flow as needed. Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, safe, and organised workspace. Required Skills and Experience High Risk Work Licence – CN Class (non‑slewing mobile cranes) Experience operating TIDD, 12t & 18t Frana cranes or similar pick‑and‑carry cranes. Sound understanding of lifting plans, slinging techniques, and crane capacity limits. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to interpret work instructions and operate safely around fabrication activities. Dogging ticket (preferred) or willingness to obtain.
