Telecommunications Labourers

Workfast is seeking Telecommunications Labourers with NBN pit & pipe experience to join our client in Wingfield, SA . This role supports regional and metro NBN projects, working alongside experienced civil and telecom crews to install, maintain, and upgrade fibre infrastructure. The position provides steady full‑time hours, training opportunities, and pathways to permanent employment. What You Get $35.50 per hour + penalties Monday - Friday, full‑time hours (38 hours per week) Occasional regional work – Accommodation provided + $66.20 LAHA per day when working regionally Strong career development and long‑term work opportunities Work for a national contractor delivering critical NBN infrastructure What You Need HR Driver's Licence and Traffic Control ticket – MANDATORY White Card Previous pit & pipe or NBN civil experience Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol test Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Strong safety mindset and commitment to working within a team What You're Doing Hauling and installing fibre cables Operating winches and cable trailers Installing and inspecting communication pits Trenching, backfilling and conduit installation Reading basic plans and following work instructions Assisting crews in metro and regional project delivery About Us Workfast is a labour‑hire company working with some of Australia's largest companies.
