MIT Security Frameworks and Data Forensics Data Management Protection and Human Factors Software-Defined Networking on Cloud Computing Research Project Programming Network and cloud security Database systems Agile IT Project Management MBA Managerial Economics Data and Business Analytics Data Privacy and Legislation Fintech for Managers Sustainable Finance and Investment Developing and Implementing a Business Proposal Research Methodologies MIT and MBA Lecturers The MIT and MBA Lecturers will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in information technology or business administration at the postgraduate level. This role involves designing and delivering curriculum, conducting research in the field, mentoring students, and contributing to the overall academic environment of EIA. Key Responsibilities Academic and Administrative Duties: Deliver lectures and tutorials, lead discussions, facilitate learning activities and administer assessments of course subjects. Develop and update course materials and assessments in line with industry trends and academic standards. Prepare assessments and conduct assessment marking and moderation, and provide students with assessment feedback and consultation. Manage and administer units through the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Student Management System (SMS). Also, contributing towards the ongoing development and maintenance of units in the LMS and the SMS. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other administrative activities. Professional Development: Conduct continuous professional development in the field of information technology or business administration and contribute to scholarly activities. Stay current with advancements in technology and integrate relevant research findings into teaching. Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance expertise. Engage with the broader community, including industry partners, to promote the MIT or MBA courses. Participate in outreach activities, workshops, and events that enhance courses’ visibility. Student Support: Promote student involvement by liaising with the academic staff, which includes encouraging students’ learning activities and promoting a sense of community among students. Work closely with the Learning Advisor to provide support services for students to overcome challenges and succeed academically. Monitor students' academic performance, progress and attendance and identify students who may be struggling academically or facing other challenges. Proactively contribute to achieving strategic outcomes in areas including graduate attributes, graduate employment, student satisfaction and equity participation. Qualifications: A PhD (AQF 10 or equivalent) in an IT, business, or related discipline with demonstrated teaching experience of at least two years within a related area in a higher education institution. Demonstrated expert knowledge within an IT or business discipline through an established publication record and significant professional or practice-based experience/expertise. Previous teaching experience at the postgraduate level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
