SYNDETICOM specialises in designing, building and supporting world class digital infrastructure, spanning private networks, audio visual communication and mission critical data centres. With the continued advancement in technology, a Telecommunications Apprenticeship assures you a secure position in a constantly evolving and growing industry. About the role We are seeking motivated and interested candidates wanting to start their career in Telecommunications. At Syndeticom as a valued member of the team, you will receive excellent on the job training as well as working in a supportive environment. Throughout your 3 year apprenticeship, you will be studying a Certificate III in Telecommunications. If you have on the job experience and no Certificate III - Apply and we can utilise your skills Tasks and responsibilities Running cables Termination of cables Locate, identify and rectify telecommunications network faults Install, test and terminate optical fibre cable Install cable trays Use of hand and power tools Programming Completing paperwork and records Must have Driver’s licence is not essential but desirable, to be able to travel from site to site when required. Experience with using basic hand tools White card To be successful Have a passion for this trade and wants to be part of a growing business once completed apprenticeship Not afraid of physically demanding work Able to work at heights or in confined spaces when required Well presented Great work ethic Dedicated and wanting to learn Follows direction well Able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Federal Police check before commencing.
