Residential Valuer – Shepparton

Preston Rowe Paterson, Shepparton (formerly Goulburn Valley Property Services) currently have vacancies for residential property valuers with a desire to join a motivated team of professional valuers operating across central and northern Victoria from the outskirts of Metropolitan Melbourne to the Murray River. We ideally require an RPV registered valuer seeking to work toward full CPV qualification and a CPV valuer working within the residential valuation sector but with a career objective to move into commercial property valuations. The successful candidate / s will work within a valuation team that takes pride in excellent customer service and operates in a wide field of property classes for a range of clients in the private sector and banking industry. Key Objectives The key objective of this role is to provide well-founded and detailed residential valuation reports for our range of clients. Roles & Responsibilities Attend property / site inspections, prepare research and sales evidence and prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports; Research current market activity and analyse comparable sales and leasing data for use in the preparation of valuations and market monitoring; Exercise the highest level of risk management and professional conduct; Build effective business relationships with staff and clients; Utilise mobile technology for field inspections; Maintain all required professional memberships and registrations including required CPD. The successful applicants will have : Excellent analytical skills; Understanding of valuation principles; Effective people skills; Technical expertise in using modern data collection systems; Excellent report writing skills; A current driver’s licence and access to a suitable motor vehicle or willing to have a vehicle provided as part of a competitive salary package; Strong numerical analysis and problem solving capabilities; The ability to work within tight timelines and under pressure; The ability to understand valuation principles and methods and their correct application.
