Kidz Bizz OSHC is a school aged, 45 place service located at the increasingly sought after Glenview State School on the Sunshine Coast. We are looking for Experienced and Exceptional Casual Educators We are currently seeking experienced, motivated and passionate Casual Educator's (Responsible Person) or with motivation to work up to the Responsible Person role, for the right candidates. Eligible applicants for this position, must have significant experience working as a Responsible Person for a minimum of 1 year in an OSHC setting. As well as hold the appropriate qualifications. In the role of Educator (Responsible Person) you will be directing and supervising high quality developmentally appropriate activities and programs in accordance with the NQF and MTOP V2, meet all regulatory and legislative requirements, record observations of individual children for program planning and individual child portfolio purposes, ensure all children are safe and secure in an inclusive environment, ensure confidentially is maintained, ensure all records are maintained, liaise with parents and family members in a positive and professional manner. A certificate III in Childcare or OSHC or working towards an approved qualification. A current Blue Card Obtain or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training and Child Protection Training. Knowledge of NQF & MTOP V2 Framework and full command of the National Regulations or willing to learn and apply knowledge and understanding. 1 year's experience working as an Educator or Responsible Person in an OSHC setting. About the Role Casual Wage: Depending on qualification and years of experience with reference to the Parents and Citizens Association Award – State 2016 Hours: As an OSHC facility Kidz Bizz operates between 6:30-8:30 am and 3:00 pm-6:00 pm on school days. We also operate full days of Vacation Care during the school holidays and pupil free days. Hours of duty will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on availability. As a Responsible Person you will: Coordinate and direct the activities of employees engaged in the implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs. Contribute, through the Director, to the development of the centre or service's policies. Coordinate centre or service operations including Occupational Health and Safety, program planning, staff training. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre or service in the temporary absence of the Director and for management and compliance with licensing and all statutory and quality assurance issues. Generally supervise all employees within the service. Co-ordinating the activities of more than one group. Supervising staff, trainees and students on placement; and Assisting in administrative functions. Ensure records are maintained accurately for each child in care. Liaise as need be with members of a child's family.
