Conference & Events Sales Executive
based at Mantra on Russell in Melbourne, you will ensure that conference inquiries across the southern regions (VIC, TAS, WA, SA, NSW, ACT) smoothly transition into confirmed bookings, making the process from inquiry to confirmation a breeze. You goal is to boost revenue, yield, and market share, all while keeping things light-hearted and enjoyable. With each event, you will create memorable experiences that leave our clients smiling and coming back for more.Primary ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to all conference sales enquiries, sending proposals and following up with clients to convert enquiries into bookingsPrepare proposals, contracts, and internal handover documentation accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain effective communication with clients via phone, email, and in-person interactionsProvide passionate, friendly, and courteous service to both external and internal guestsConduct site inspections with potential clients as requiredFocus on achieving conversion targets, revenue generation, and meeting budgetsAssist the Director of Conference & Events in identifying and implementing plans to address revenue opportunitiesAssist the Conference & Events Coordinator as requiredSkills & ExperiencePast experience in a similar role, demonstrated precision in conference & events sales and providing exceptional customer service while exceeding expectationsCreativity is key for designing unique event experiences and finding innovative solutions to challenges that may ariseProficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial managementProficient in negotiating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to establish favourable terms that benefit all parties involvedA strategic mindset, adept at orchestrating a wide range of eventsYou foster a can – do approach with impeccable attention to detail and exceptional time management skillsFlexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as requiredALL Heartist Membership -Take advantage of discounts on accommodation and food & beverage worldwideFamily & Friends Discounts-Available on a range of accommodation, services and events for those who mean the most to youAccor Live Limitless (ALL) Loyalty Program-Earn status & reward points on your worldwide staysLearn Your Way-Support your career development with access to Accor’s industry leading training platforms, Accor Academy and TypsyBuild Your Network-With more than 300,000 Accor professionals globally sharing the same guest passion, you have the ability to grow your hospitality network worldwideWorldwide Opportunities-We are a world leading hotel operator With over 400 hotels in the Pacific and more than 5,000 across 110 countries, offering limitless opportunities to grow your careerAt Accor, we welcome you as you are.
