With over seven years in the Australian market and more than 60 consultants across APAC, we help organisations design and implement scalable data architectures, drive cloud modernisation, and unlock business value through actionable insights. We operate with a high‑impact, relationship‑driven model: senior expertise, hands‑on delivery, and a culture of collaboration. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to support one of our enterprise clients in uplifting and modernising their data ecosystem. The ideal candidate is strong across Snowflake, Azure cloud services, data modelling, dbt transformation frameworks, and Terraform for infrastructure automation. This role will drive architectural decisions, design modern data pipelines, and provide hands‑on leadership to engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Design end‑to‑end modern data architectures leveraging Snowflake, Azure Data Services, dbt, and Terraform Define patterns and standards for ingestion, transformation, modelling, and metadata management Lead the implementation of scalable data models (Bronze/Silver/Gold, dimensional modelling, semantic layers) Guide engineering teams on best practices in dbt, CI/CD, DevOps, and orchestration Align architecture decisions with business objectives, security requirements, and platform governance Conduct solution reviews, optimise performance, and ensure platform scalability Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (cloud, data engineering, governance, security) Qualifications 6+ years in data architecture or senior data engineering Strong architecture experience on Snowflake (warehousing, RBAC, performance tuning, stages, tasks, streams) Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks will be highly regarded Hands‑on experience with Azure data services (ADF, Data Factory/Fabric, ADLS, Functions, Key Vault, Synapse optional) Advanced expertise in dbt Core/Cloud (models, macros, testing, exposures, documentation) Solid experience with Terraform including Snowflake provider, modularisation, versioning, CI/CD pipelines Strong data modelling (star schema, 3NF, vault advantageous) Experience designing enterprise‑grade ingestion, orchestration, and transformation pipelines Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Consulting Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
