About The Role We’re seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our supportive team in Thornton, working a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight. In this role, you will assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones, and getting out into the community. You will help them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives. Key Responsibilities Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plans Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing) Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records Work collaboratively within a close‑knit team Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines Qualifications & Requirements Willing to work sleepover, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and be confident driving Unisson vehicles Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient Experienced in disability support (preferred) Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable) Benefits Generous salary packaging to boost your take‑home pay 17.5% annual leave loading Wellbeing leave + option to cash out annual leave Employee Assistance Program for you and your family Flexible work options and individualised training Free flu vaccinations, WHEREFIT membership, and milestone celebrations How to Apply Click the link to apply with your resume and a short cover letter.
