This role involves a combination of internal depot work and day-to-day pick-up and delivery of customer orders. If you are a safety-focused driver with a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills, we’d love to hear from you Responsibilities Operate MC-Class Vehicles Safely: Drive B-Double and semi-trailers, ensuring compliance with road safety and Chain of Responsibility regulations. Pick-Up & Delivery Services: Deliver and collect freight in a timely, professional manner across the Sydney area. Depot Operations: Assist with internal depot tasks as required. Route Planning: Efficiently plan and execute routes for B-Double and semi-trailer loads. Vehicle Maneuvering: Safely reverse into tight and challenging areas. Trailer Management: Hook and unhook trailers with precision. Tautliner Handling: Open and close tautliners, remove gates, and securely strap loads in accordance with load restraint guidelines. Manual Handling: Perform physical tasks as needed, ensuring personal and team safety. Technology Use: Accurately complete runsheets, use RF scanners, and operate company apps as required. Pallet & POD Control: Manage pallet exchanges and maintain clear documentation of Proof of Delivery (PODs). Professional Representation: Interact with clients courteously, upholding the company’s reputation. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant transport laws and internal policies. Additional Duties: Carry out other tasks as directed to support team operations. Qualifications Current MC Class License (mandatory) Minimum 5 years of MC driving experience Proven experience with deliveries to Distribution Centres (DCs) Solid knowledge of Sydney and NSW roads, including B-Double approved routes Clean and safe driving history Strong ability to work unsupervised and within a team High level of customer service and professionalism Well-groomed with a positive, can-do attitude Strong safety awareness, initiative, and attention to detail Experience in the transport industry (preferred but not essential) What We Offer Competitive salary package Well-maintained, high-quality trucks A supportive and safety-focused work environment Successful candidates will need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and national police check.
