As we continue to expand our reach nationally, we are seeking a proactive and skilled Education Coordinator to grow our school partnerships, STEM engagement and increase student participation in our programs across the nation. Role Overview The Program Coordinator will hold an integral role in coordinating and maintaining relationships with schools and supporting our growth in Northern Territory and nationally. The role will involve assisting with partnership event coordination and planning, contributing to the successful execution of events. The role is based in Northern Territory. It is a permanent part-time position (0.8FTE, with consideration of 1.0FTE for the right candidate) and is a work‑from‑home role with flexibility around school hours and school holidays. The salary range for this role is $65,000 – $75,000 per annum (pro rata, based on FTE). We welcome applicants from all genders. This position is pivotal to our national growth strategy of expanding UNIQ You’s presence in schools and increasing student engagement. You will leverage your interpersonal skills and knowledge of secondary school ecosystems, along with expertise in relationship management, to drive participation, facilitate our virtual sessions and ensure smooth operational processes. Key Responsibilities Support Schools: Provide dedicated support to a portfolio of schools and their lead educators, STEM educators or career advisors, addressing their needs and fostering strong relationships. Effective Communication: Utilise clear and effective communication to engage with schools, ensuring clarity and satisfaction throughout the booking and participation process. School Liaison: Acting as a supportive liaison between UNIQ You and schools, providing consistent communication and support to increase student participation and strengthen partnerships. Event Coordination: Managing timelines, aligning with key dates, ensuring partnership deliverables are met, and providing general event assistance. Virtual Presentation and Facilitation: Confidently deliver engaging and interactive virtual presentations to secondary school students, fostering a positive learning environment. Administrative Duties: Handle various administrative responsibilities related to bookings and school engagements. Qualifications and Skills Understanding of Education Landscape: Familiarity with the education sector, including STEM and industry engagement, and ability to build relationships with school networks. Sales Experience: Experience in sales or booking management or demonstrated ability to identify and pursue opportunities. Opportunity Conversion: Skill in converting opportunities into successful bookings and engagements, with a positive and results‑oriented approach. Excellent Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with schools, ensuring schools have a smooth and excellent experience with UNIQ You’s service. Curiosity and Adaptability: A curious and flexible mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic and growing environment. Initiative and Autonomy: Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks effectively. Problem‑Solving: A proactive, resilient, resourceful and calm solutions‑oriented problem‑solver. Technology Proficiency: Comfort with online technology platforms and tools, especially Teams and Zoom. Organisational Skills: Exceptional planning, organisational, and time‑management skills. Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a small, high‑performing team with strong attention to detail. Attitude: Can‑do attitude, willingness to learn, adaptability, and a positive mindset to thrive in an independent work environment. Knowledge of VET, STEM, and career education sectors. Knowledge of education challenges faced by students and educators in disadvantaged schools, particularly those in regional and remote areas and our First Nations People. A desire to improve gender equality. Qualifications in education or related fields. Experience in developing and managing partnerships. Experience in budgets and meeting targets.
