Entry Level & Experienced Truck Operator Opportunities FMR Investments is a privately owned company specialising in the mining and mining-related sectors, with a strong emphasis on residential and community-based operations. We support permanent, full-time employment based locally in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. POSITION SUMMARY FMR Investments is seeking multiple residential Truck Operators based at our Gordon Sirdar Gold Mine approximately 55km north-east of Kalgoorlie (NO FIFO). The position operates on a 6:1, 6:8 roster, rotating between 10.5hr day and night shifts. ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES As a Truck Operator at our Gordon Sirdar Gold Mine, you’ll play a vital role in the safe and efficient transportation of ore, waste and materials across the underground operation. This position requires a strong safety focus, mechanical awareness and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment under variable and low-visibility conditions. Operate underground haul trucks to move ore and waste safely. Complete pre-start checks and safety documentation. Coordinate with boggers and loaders for efficient material handling. Follow traffic protocols and communicate via two-way radio. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and assist with basic servicing. KEY REQUIREMENTS Reside locally in the Goldfields region (no FIFO). Manual C Class Driver’s Licence. A can‑do, team‑oriented attitude, solid problem‑solving and communication skills with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable. Previous experience operating haul trucks in a mining or quarry environment. Exposure to different types of mobile plant (dozer, loader, water cart). Familiarity with site‑specific safety standards and environmental policies. Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery. HR licence or above. First Aid Certification. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must have full legal rights to work in Australia and the ability to pass a National Police Clearance and fitness to work medical including drug and alcohol screening.
