As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Kitchen Team Leader, Cook, and Site Manager in delivering a high‑quality catering service to our residents. You’ll assist with food preparation and kitchen hygiene, ensuring our consumers enjoy nutritious and well‑presented meals. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages. Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized. Maintain food safety standards by labelling food items and managing stock rotation. Operate dishwashers and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas.Contribute to compliance with Sundale’s Food Safety Program and aged care standards. Help ensure meals meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Police Check Pre‑employment medical assessment Prior experience in a similar role in an aged care setting is highly desirable. Understanding of food safety regulations and stock management.
