Overview Lead Quality Engineer at Beam, an API‑integrated superannuation solution part of Australian Retirement Trust. The role is focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions for our B2B and software partner digital product suite. Location Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne (remote options available). Responsibilities Lead and coach the Quality Engineering team to deliver effective testing solutions across multiple products. Set quality assurance standards and advocate modern tools and techniques. Design and maintain test automation frameworks across data pipelines, APIs, mobile, cloud, and web UI. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into testing strategies. Enhance testing across data pipelines, APIs, mobile, cloud, and web UI. Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement in testing practices. Qualifications Led test automation and system testing in CI/CD environments; built scalable frameworks. Hands‑on with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, UIPath, C#, Java, SQL; choose the right tool for the job. Strategic thinker who translates complex requirements into smart testing approaches. Collaborative by nature with strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement. Detail‑oriented and creative; continuously improve testing effectiveness and efficiency. Experience across diverse testing landscapes: data pipelines, APIs, mobile, cloud, web UI. Bonus: financial services, payroll, employer software experience; ISTQB certification.
