Senior Wellbeing & Injury Management Business Partner Chisholm Institute of TAFE – Dandenong VIC Chisholm is seeking an experienced Senior Wellbeing & Injury Management Business Partner for our Workplace Relations & Injury Management team. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Wellbeing & Injury Management Business Partner, your key responsibilities include: Providing expert wellbeing and injury management advice, training and support to Chisholm managers and employees, including Return to Work (RTW) & Support at Work (SAW) follow-up support, advice on health matters related to travel. Provide strong leadership and expertise to the Workplace Relations and Injury Management Team to ensure the provision of relevant, compliant advice and support appropriate processes to meet the business needs of Chisholm. Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of an integrated psychosocial safety, and wellbeing strategy and framework, fostering positive cultural change. Manage the development, review and implementation of Injury management and wellbeing-related policies, procedures and systems to ensure they reflect current legislative requirements and enable Chisholm’s Wellbeing Promise of zero harm. Maintain Chisholm’s employer performance rating at or below the industry average. Attend conciliation conferences at the Accident Compensation Conciliation Service (ACCS) where appropriate. Manage the development and implementation of wellbeing services and programs to promote the health and wellbeing of staff and students. Support and build capacity in people leaders across the organisation in psychosocial safety, wellbeing and injury management. Build and maintain relationships with external providers including workers’ compensation insurer(s), WorkSafe Victoria, ACCS, legal providers, EAP providers and relevant medical professionals. ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed in-depth understanding of Return-to-Work practices including legislation and the underlying decision-making principles, sound experience in Return-to-Work practices, workers’ compensation, TAC and injury recovery and a thorough understanding of workers’ compensation premiums. You have the ability to effectively manage multiple demands, extensive experience in workers’ compensation/personal injury claims management, rehabilitation and return to work programs or experience in a similar role and strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills. You can bring your knowledge of contemporary practices including person centred and trauma informed practice and your robust understanding of mental health and/or anatomy and physiology to this role. Qualifications required for the role A relevant tertiary qualification in OH&S, Human Resources, psychology, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline or subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of knowledge, training and experience. Certified Return to Work Coordinator, Victorian WorkCover Authority (VWA) approved. Certified Personal Injury Practitioner or a related discipline, or a willingness to obtain.
