Tasks & Responsibilities: Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth workflow, strict adherence to meat freshness standards, and consistent high-quality service. Manage, roster, and train team members, conduct regular performance reviews to maintain optimal staffing levels and service standards. Monitor inventory of fresh meats, plan weekly purchases based on seasonal demand. Verify the quality, quantity and freshness of the meat delivered by the supplier. Implement and track sales targets, develop action plans to boost store performance and maximize daily revenue. Handle customer inquiries and feedback, proactively answer questions about meat selection, cooking methods, or sourcing, resolve complaints promptly and professionally to retain customer trust. Strictly follow the food standards and health and safety rules. Prepare and analyze operational reports, compile daily sales summaries, inventory loss records, and staff performance data. Keep the store neat and clean, and ensure the hygiene of meat display cabinets, cutting areas, checkout counters and public places. Coordinate in-store marketing and promotions, lead seasonal campaigns to boost customer engagement. Foster a positive team culture, lead by example to promote collaboration, attention to detail, and customer focus, organize regular team check-ins. Collect feedback via in-store surveys to refine products and services. Periodically review supplier qualification to ensure compliance with our quality standards, negotiate delivery schedules or prices. Qualifications Have relevant degree. Have a minimum of 1 years of proven experience in a similar retail manager role, with preference for candidates who have worked in a butcher shop, supermarket meat department, or fresh food retail environment. Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. Have excellent time management and organizational skills. Have a proven track record in driving sales and KPI’s. Have a passion for leading & inspiring a team to succeed. Have an ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities.
