Overview Our City Beach Respite Accommodation offers a nurturing environment for individuals living with neurological conditions such as MS, Parkinson's, Huntington's, Motor Neurone Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke. Convenient location close to the beach and local amenities. Friendly, compassionate staff. 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom house with communal lounges, dining areas and an outdoor courtyard. Clients typically stay one or two weeks. Role The Neurological Nurse - Accommodation will be instrumental in improving our clients' lives, advocating for their rights to autonomy, dignity, and respect. You will handle a variety of responsibilities including: Completing assessments and generating care plans. Providing supervision, advice and support to our Care Supports Workers (CSWs). Delivering clinical care such as wound and continence management, medication management and administration. Facilitating referrals for other health services. Managing stocks of clinical products and equipment. Submitting clinical reports as required. Key Details Permanent part-time role (60 hours per fortnight guaranteed) Must Haves Current AHPRA registration as an EN or RN. Basic understanding of neurological conditions.
