Merchandise Manager - BONDS Join one of Australia’s most iconic apparel groups and help shape the future of our brands as a Merchandise Manager. Your New Role Reporting to the Head of Merchandise, the Merchandise Manager plays a key role in driving commercial performance and strategic growth for the Bonds Group. You’ll oversee the full product lifecycle, from range planning and product launches through to financial management, pricing, and lifecycle optimisation – ensuring every range is both profitable and customer‑led. This is a full‑time fixed‑term position, ending in August 2026. What You’ll Do Lead the end‑to‑end merchandise strategy, from range planning and pricing to promotion and placement. Develop and manage annual merchandise plans that deliver against sales and profit budgets. Analyse performance and market insights to inform range selection and product innovation. Partner with Design and Planning teams to achieve margin and sales growth targets. Manage lifecycle strategies including SKU optimisation, product exits, and new launches. Mentor and support Merchandise Coordinators, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. You’ll bring 2–3 years’ experience in a merchandise management, buying, or product lifecycle role. Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data effectively. Experience working in retail or FMCG environments. Strong collaboration skills – you’re a team player who can influence and inspire. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
