Senior Pharmacist Partnered Charting Prescribing 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants About the role As a Senior Pharmacist undertaking Partnered Charting and/or Prescribing, you will possess hospital clinical pharmacy experience commensurate with the requirements to undertake partnered charting and prescribing or have the required hospital clinical pharmacy experience to be credentialled. You would apply safety and quality principles to charting and prescribing medications and accept professional responsibility for the standard of work undertaken. You would also lead the organisation, management and daily operations of the allocated pharmacy area, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, high-level pharmacy services. You’ll apply your advanced clinical expertise and independent judgement to provide accurate medicines information, therapeutic advice and professional support to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals. In this pivotal role, you’ll work within established hospital policies and professional standards to uphold the highest quality of pharmacy practice. You will play a central role in optimising patient outcomes by championing the safe, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medicines across the hospital. Through implementing best-practice strategies, contributing to service improvements and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help drive excellence in pharmaceutical care. About You Qualified and registered, holding a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Highly skilled and organised, with excellent communication abilities, strong attention to detail, proven problem-solving skills and confidence working independently within a complex, fast-paced environment. Experienced and knowledgeable, with extensive hospital pharmacy experience, strong competency in pharmacy practice and thorough understanding of relevant standards, codes and evidence-based practice. A supportive and effective leader, capable of supervising and training staff, contributing to multidisciplinary teams, and driving service improvement through research, data interpretation and strategic innovation.
