Are you a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer ready to take on a leadership role and specialise in the Water Sector? Randstad is partnering with a Tasmanian-owned and managed multidisciplinary consultancy to find their next Senior Water Engineer. About the company They have been operating for over 60 years, where their strength lies in their comprehensive, integrated service offering, which includes structural, civil, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and fire services engineering. This broad capability have secured them an exceptional client portfolio, encompassing local councils, government agencies, developers, architects, and project managers across both public and private sectors. About the opportunity Based in their Hobart office, you will join a passionate Civil team, leveraging your technical expertise to deliver critical civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on the water sector. This isn't just a design role; you'll be a leader and a mentor. Key Responsibilities Include : Leading the delivery of complex water sector projects, including design documentation, technical reports, and specifications. Acting as Project Manager and Lead Designer for civil projects across municipal, authority, commercial, and marine sectors. Preparing fee proposals, managing project resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on scope, budget, and time. Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders. Mentoring junior engineers and technical staff, actively contributing to team development. About you This role will be ideal for someone that has previously demonstrated experience in water engineering and has a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in civil / water engineering. An attractive salary, including a company will be offered to the successful candidate, as well as relocation assistance, should you be moving to Hobart from Interstate.
