Heavy Diesel Mechanic

About the Role Kakurrka Resources is seeking two highly skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Pinjarra, Western Australia. This full‑time position follows an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, allowing you to be home every night while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our maintenance activities. What You’ll Be Doing Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy machinery Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out necessary repairs Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe workplace Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to identify and implement process improvements Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members What We’re Looking For Formal qualifications in Heavy Diesel Mechanics Experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic in mining or a similar heavy industry Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills across a variety of machinery Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical interactions A strong commitment to safety with a proven record in high‑risk environments High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join Us?
