About the Role: As one of the fastest growing residential and commercial furniture retailer known for our designer furniture at affordable prices, Artspire Home invites Interior Designer with proven track record of professional and exceptional working experience to join our great team. We are a highly energetic team constantly pushing boundaries to reach our goals Candidate will be looked to for fresh inspiration and design ideas, constantly scoping the design world for upcoming and current trends and implementing these ideas in the spaces you create. In your role as Interior Designer at Artspire Home you will join a collaborative team of designers, collecting the original client brief, working with the team to create a design solution and liaising with the client to achieve the desired result. Qualified candidates need to ensure seamless service delivery and championing continuous improvement. Position: Permanent Full Time Hours of Work: 9:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday Salary Package: AUD 90,000+super/per year Location: Geelong North Requirements A Master degree in Design, Interior Design, Collaborative Design, Landscape Architecture, or related major is a must; Trilingual proficiency ability, highly proficient in English (mandatory), Cantonese and mandarin speaking skills in business context is a must; At least 1 year full-time Interior Designer working experience is a must; Flexibility to work across scale, sector and discipline with strong communication and time management skills; Project leadership and design management experience with strong ability to interpret architectural intent seamlessly design accordingly; Experience working with luxury furniture and interior designs preferred; Strong experience with AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office Series software is a must; Deep knowledge of materials, fixtures, and finishes. Responsibilities Be responsible for clients consultation. Meets with the client to understand their needs, desires, lifestyle, budget, and timeline. Gather constraint information about all stakeholders’ visions, preferences, and budgets to tailor personalized design strategies; Be responsible for assessing the physical space, taking precise measurements and noting architectural features, lighting, and structural limitations; analyze all the requirements from the clients; Determine the design tone and overall style, and develop a conceptual theme, mood boards, and color palettes to convey the look and feel of the space; Create a comprehensive set of drawings, including furniture plans, elevations (wall views), and detailed construction drawings for custom elements like built-in cabinetry or millwork for clients to check; Working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and electricians to ensure the design vision is executed correctly; ensure that the design plan is accurately conveyed and executed; Be responsible for selecting appropriate and sustainable materials for every surface, including flooring, wall coverings, paint, countertops, furniture and tiles, considering durability, maintenance, and aesthetics; Be responsible for recording detailed documentation and paper drawings of the selected design for construction chosen by clients and related stakeholders; Manage the project timeline, coordinate deliveries, and conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any on-site issues; Stay informed about current industry trends, sustainable practices, and best practices in interior design. #J-18808-Ljbffr
