Client Service Specialist (Hearing Health) - Cessnock Permanent, part‑time position – 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 8:30am‑5pm). Working at Cessnock, East Maitland & Maitland locations (onsite). Applicants are welcome to apply now; candidates selected early will have priority. Job Overview Help provide the latest best practice services for anyone who needs it. Gain skills with Australia’s largest provider of government‑funded hearing care. Work within a committed team to support clients across diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities Greet clients and attend to all counter and telephone enquiries. Facilitate reception duties and general administration, including booking appointments, processing claims, data entry and compiling monthly reports. Liaise with clients, some with complex needs, and clients from multicultural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. Perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting. Assist clinicians by proactively identifying client needs, offering professional advice and demonstrating hearing aid usage. Qualifications & Experience Proactive problem solver with a desire to accept responsibility and take ownership of work. Intermediate or advanced computer literacy; familiarity with mobile technology (Apple and/or Android applications) preferred. Desire to work within an organisation that contributes to the greater good and provides genuinely rewarding work. Experience in customer service or related field preferred. Additional Requirements Must be willing to undergo a paid Police Check. Current driver’s licence and rights to work in Australia.
