Support Workers - Permanent Part-Time Positions Available Locations: Liverpool Area & Bankstown Area. About the Role We are excited to offer multiple Permanent Part-Time Positions for Support Workers throughout our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Services . To work with us, you need a positive, authentic, and inclusive personality which you bring to work every day Day-to-Day Responsibilities Providing support to our clients to improve their independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and personal care. Keeping customer records up to date using online systems. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders. Assisting in the development or implementation of care plans. To Be Successful in This Role You are punctual, friendly, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. You are invested in providing the highest quality in disability services and are competent in working with people with a disability. Requirements Appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or Community Services/Individual Support or equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry. Valid NSW Drivers C class license, with the ability to drive vehicles in license class, including large cars and vans. Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common computer systems. Desirable Experience with disabilities and mental health conditions Advanced knowledge of services and programs under NDIS.
