We are now seeking General Practitioners to join our innovative Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) in Richmond – providing urgent, non-emergency care to reduce pressure on hospital emergency departments. About the Role Location: Richmond, VIC Hours: 7 days a week, 3.00–10.00pm | PM shifts available Employment Type: Medical Practitioners Award 2020 (Individual Flexibility Arrangement) You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care for non-life-threatening conditions, supporting timely patient treatment, and connecting patients to our extensive in-house health services. What you will be doing – Key Responsibilities As a GP in this facility, you will provide high level of urgent clinical care to a wide range of patients/clients. You'll be working within an appropriately equipped consulting space, alongside experienced Division 1 RNs to provide high quality assessment and care. Undertake full face-to-face assessments (including ECG) of patients with acute injury or illness. This includes adult and paediatric patients Take a thorough clinical patient history and document in medical software Provide referral back to the patient’s GP for ongoing management, with written discharge within 48 hours following management of immediate illness Contact local Emergency Departments to discuss and elevate patients as necessary Provide patients with clear guidance on what to do should symptoms escalate, or further advice becomes necessary Access Health and Community Culture and Benefits Our culture promotes an environment of success and fulfilment.
