The Wallaby Hotel, one of the Gold Coast's favourite local pubs is seeking an adept Venue Manager to oversee our multifaceted operations, with a strong emphasis on live gigs and entertainment. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast pace, a full room and the buzz that comes with a strong music lineup. As Venue Manager, you'll orchestrate the day-to-day operations of our multifaceted venue. We're in search of an individual with a proven track record in managing large-capacity venues, adept at team leadership, and skilled in cultivating and nurturing strong management teams. What's on Offer: Generous Salary $100,000 - $110,000 + Super Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A Opportunity to be part of a professional and well-known hospitality team Autonomous role with excellent company support Exceptional team culture 3+ years of Venue Management experience Experience working in an entertainment-focused venue Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyse where there is an opportunity to grow your business Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends Write and control an effective roster Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully RLMV, Approved Managers License, Gaming Nominee & CLO are a must We value the diversity of our employees' experiences, talents, and cultures.
