About the Role You will lead end to end delivery of civil infrastructure projects for local government, state agencies, and private sector clients. Our work spans roads, stormwater, wastewater, subdivisions, flood recovery, betterment, and complex infrastructure packages. At McGloin Baker, you are not just managing projects. You will work closely with our Directors and senior leadership, contribute to strategic decision making, and strengthen long term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple civil infrastructure projects with a focus on quality, commercial outcomes, and client confidence Manage full project lifecycles including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and close out Administer contracts under GC21, MW21, AS2124, AS4300, and similar frameworks Identify risks early, drive solutions, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders Prepare programs, budgets, scopes, monthly reports, and client updates Mentor junior engineers and help grow the capability of the wider team Represent McGloin Baker professionally and contribute to our reputation as a trusted regional partner About You Bachelor degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline 8 to 10 years’ experience for a Project Manager or 10 to 15 plus years for a Senior Project Manager Chartered status (CPEng) or RPEQ is highly regarded Experience in either client side or contractor project management, ideally both Strong capability in communication, leadership, commercial thinking, and stakeholder engagement A proactive mindset, a solutions driven approach, and pride in delivering quality work Full Australian working rights Why McGloin Baker Salary package between $150K and $200K+ plus super, aligned with capability and experience Company vehicle with fuel card A supportive, transparent culture where people are respected and recognised A fast growing consultancy with genuine pathways to leadership and chartership Work directly with directors who are hands on, collaborative, and invested in your development Flexibility, autonomy, and work-life balance in one of Australia’s most desirable coastal regions The chance to contribute to meaningful infrastructure that improves communities Join Us If you want to build a long term career in a consultancy that backs its people, delivers high quality work, and plays a leading role in the future of regional infrastructure, we would love to speak with you.
