About the Role This National Insurance Builder is looking to appoint a Supervisor to manage a diverse portfolio of repair jobs predominantly in the Gold Coast area. This is an integral role within the business, responsible for the delivery of jobs across both residential and commercial insurance reinstatement projects. The Supervisor will manage multiple projects that vary in scale and complexity. Training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Engage trades and monitor progress Forecast monthly revenue according to project completion dates Prepare schedules Ensure quality assurance Adhere to WH&S standards Client liaison Manage budgets to deliver quality outcomes for clients Work with the Procurement team to onboard and manage subcontractors and suppliers Key Activities Compile and deliver detailed scope of works Compile and deliver accurate budget breakdowns, allowing successful tender results and profitable delivery of construction works Plan, schedule and drive multiple small to medium domestic and commercial construction repairs Ensure trades/suppliers adhere to purchase orders, SOWs and quote requests Ensure the delivery construction schedules are met Ensure budgets are met to ensure profitability on jobs Request engagement of new trades and suppliers via company procurement processDrive and monitor adherence to company safety processes on all jobs Accurately forecast and achieve monthly latest forecasted completion dates, to ensure revenue targets are met Have a detailed understanding and experience in the construction process, critical inspection points, permit requirements and WHS requirements Provide accurate progress updates for internal and external use Professional Skills & Qualifications Solid construction supervision experience in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairs Proven skills in construction estimating for building repairs to both domestic and commercial properties Experience working directly with clients, building consultants, and all construction related trades and suppliers Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities Strong verbal and written communication Interpersonal skills to deal with both internal and external customers and build long‑term relationships Able to develop business through quality service delivery Experience in the insurance repair industry is beneficial Thorough understanding of construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards Certificate IV in Building and Construction or trade background (highly desirable) Our company places a strong emphasis on building long‑standing working relationships and encouraging career progression internally.
