Join our team as a Project Engineer Our client is one of Australia’s largest and most respected construction companies, is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join their Brisbane team. We are looking for a high-calibre individual to initially contribute to a landmark $100 million healthcare refurbishment project located on the south side of Brisbane . This is a significant, complex project offering a fantastic opportunity to showcase your technical skills and project management capabilities. Key Responsibilities As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the project, working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager. Your duties will include: Engineering and Technical Support: Providing essential technical advice and engineering solutions on site. Subcontractor Management: Assisting in the coordination, supervision, and management of subcontractors and suppliers. Quality Assurance: Implementing and monitoring quality control systems to ensure work meets specifications and high Hutchies standards. Programme Management: Monitoring and updating the project programme, ensuring key milestones are met. Procurement: Managing the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery. Documentation: Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including RFI’s, site instructions, meeting minutes, and progress reports. Safety: Championing site safety, ensuring compliance with all WHS regulations. What You'll Bring A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related discipline. Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably within the Australian construction industry . Prior experience with refurbishment, health, or complex live environment projects is highly regarded. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of construction methodology, WHS, and quality management systems. A proactive, problem‑solving approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
