Altus Group is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 5-10 years' experience, to join our Development Advisory division within our Sydney office. Reporting to the Associate Director, as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you are passionate about helping clients manage their construction costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the various stages of construction. Job Responsibilities Conduct detailed and accurate cost analyses, estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies for construction projects. Technically proficient at all aspects of pre and post contract QS service Client facing and ability to manage clients expectations Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors including mentoring of junior employees Taking responsibility and ownership for a portfolio of projects across different sectors Career development and progression opportunities for employees who demonstrate high performance and excellent attitude; Job Requirements Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management. Minimum 5 year's Quantity Surveying experience Membership in an approved Professional Body- preferred (eg. AIQS, RICS, CIOB); Advanced knowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors; Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated skills in client file management, planning and organisation.
