Regulatory Breach Specialist

Talenza is partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire a Regulatory Breach Specialist. This role is responsible for leading complex incident investigations and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will lead regulatory investigations, mentor junior analysts, monitor legislative changes, improve breach processes, and prepare submissions for management and regulators. Base pay range: A$137,000.00/yr - A$158,000.00/yr Competitive salary with superannuation Hybrid working environment Opportunity to work on high‑profile regulatory programs Supportive leadership and team culture Responsibilities and Requirements Lead complex breach investigations and assess their significance under multiple regulatory regimes. Advise on legislative changes and ensure compliance with financial services regulation and prudential standards. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in breach reporting using GRC tools. Contribute to policies, procedures, and frameworks for incident and breach management. Prepare high‑quality reports and submissions for management, committees, and regulators. Mentor and guide junior analysts in investigation methodology, regulatory analysis, and report writing. Engage effectively with regulators and internal stakeholders, leveraging governance and compliance frameworks.
