With one of the largest listed defence company market capitalisations in Australia, part of the ASX200 index, and having raised approximately $250m in alone, DroneShield is undergoing hypergrowth stage, fuelled by rapidly increasing use of drones for nefarious applications, from battlefield, to terrorism, to contraband delivery and commercial espionage. This role is in the DroneShield Sydney headquarters in Sydney CBD. There are approximately 380 staff based in the 4,000sqm facility today, scheduled to grow to approximately 500 staff by end of the year. Overseas on the ground presence includes Virginia (USA), Netherlands, Denmark, Mexico and Dubai, as well as distributors in over 70 countries globally. About the role The IT team is responsible for providing excellent end‑user experiences and services for our staff. They deliver prompt technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems to minimise disruptions. The team also manages system maintenance, internal applications, and drives overall organisational productivity. The IT team must work closely with Engineering and Security teams to delight our Engineers while keeping a high level of security. Primary responsibilities include triaging issues, supporting staff with IT needs, and driving process improvements. Knowledge of M365 and End User Computing are essential. Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Provide first point of IT support contact for all staff Provisioning of workstations for users with various company SOE and requirements Understanding of up‑to‑date IT related security practices Implementation and configuration of IT hardware and software solutions for end‑users Troubleshoot all ICT related issues Manage Helpdesk tickets, planning and prioritisation, systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency Demonstrate being proactive, ability to work unsupervised, thinking on feet and doing a wide variety of tasks Qualifications, Experience and Skills Expertise in MS Entra ID and MDM administration Understanding of Windows, MacOS and Linux OS environments Experience working with backup solutions for on‑premises and cloud environments Troubleshooting experience on corporate hardware, software, printers, digital signage and AV solutions Proficiency using tools such as PowerShell and Bash Relevant exposure to incident management tools Demonstrate an understanding of IT asset management Prior experience at an MSP is desirable Note for recruitment agencies: We do not accept unsolicited candidates from external recruiters unless specifically instructed. #J- #J-18808-Ljbffr
