About the role We are looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking Asset Engineer to provide support and leadership to our Strategic Asset Management team. You’ll support the development and implementation of strategies across the dam safety portfolio to improve our reliability, achieve industry best practice and deliver value for our community. Success in this role will see you support works programs and budgets in our capital works improvement program, collaborating with both internal and external teams to deliver improved performance of assets. Adept at problem solving, this key role will identify and implement improvements to current process and practices, leveraging industry networks and technical expertise to support a commitment for innovation and best for business outcomes. About you As the Asset Engineer, you will be courageous with engaged by improving asset performance, blending expertise with an innovative approach to solution orientated problem solving. Exhibiting excellent communication skills, you build strong relationships with partners and people to deliver common goals for asset management and high performance. You will be confident working with cross‑functional teams and bringing influence in your area of specialisation. With strong attention to detail, your organisational skills will enable you to support multiple projects across a range of disciplines. Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously, your practical experience will be underpinned by your degree in engineering.
