As we move into a new and exciting stage in the Country Chef story there’s one ingredient we cannot do without … our fantastic people About This Opportunity Shift Time: Afternoon (1.45pm-10pm). Subject to flexibility, shift coverage and occasional weekend cover according to business needs. This is a hands‑on technical role, that is primarily responsible for ensuring the continual operation & effectiveness of all Plant & Equipment across the processing facility. Responsibilities Working closely with the production team to maintain production continuity by promptly addressing breakdowns and issues with all plant and equipment across the facility. Development and monitoring of routine equipment maintenance, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance. Fault finding, monitoring and maintenance of production equipment, accounting for holistic process flow. Analysing records and identifying opportunities to improve maintenance programs. Populate and maintain accurate records in the MEX program. Adhering to all quality, food safety, WH&S and environment policies and procedures. Occasional overtime and shift coverage as required. The role may require you commencing on a rotating roster to provide exposure and opportunity to work with the different specialists on other shifts. About You A currently qualified electrician. A proactive attitude towards learning, continuous improvement and problem‑solving. Experience working in a team‑based environment. Ability to participate in performance monitoring, commissioning and continuous improvement opportunities. Previousexperience in automated food or beverage manufacturing environment, FMCG ishighly regarded but not essential. Knowledge of pneumatic systems, packaging machines, conveyors, ovens, flow wrappers. Experience with stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding. Experience with the MEX system and/or other CMMS software. Exposure to PLC and variable speed drives is also advantageous. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. A passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail. Valid and current C Class Driver’s License.
