About Us Dyers is a proud family-owned logistics company which has operated since 1932 and is committed to employing great people to maintain our outstanding service levels. We currently have a vacancy for experienced Body Builder / Fibreglasser based in our Bairnsdale workshop to maintain and repair our Company owned fleet of Utes, trucks, trailers and materials handling equipment. Key Responsibilities Identify damage and determine appropriate repair methods. Carry out laminating, cutting, bonding, sanding, and finishing tasks. Apply and repair gel coats to restore original appearance and protection. Replace fibreglass extrusions, panels, and structural components as needed. Ensure all tools and materials are maintained in good working order. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements. Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Leading Hands, and other trades to coordinate repairs. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and labour hours to ensure accurate maintenance and service history. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide assistance when needed. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Requirements Proven experience in fibreglass repair, finishing, or panel manufacturing. Experience with replacing extrusions and performing gel coat repairs is highly advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret job cards and repair instructions. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with WHS standards and safe handling of chemicals and materials. Flexibility for rotating after hours call out roster. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A current driver’s licence. Ability to work overtime where required.
