At Zurich, we don't just cover, we care. A great opportunity exists to join our General Insurance business as an Actuarial Pricing Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing underwriting profitability and achieving growth objectives by providing strategic pricing and underwriting guidance. In addition, you will monitor portfolio performance to ensure compliance with Group, ZAIL, and Zurich New Zealand standards, supporting the delivery of financial and operational goals. Your key responsibilities will include: Develop pricing recommendations to ensure target return on equity, including pricing structure, segment analysis, and rating methodology Support actuaries in identifying profitable portfolio segments for underwriter and distribution strategiesAssist with pricing for large policies or schemes. Drive continuous improvements to Model Price in line with Zurich Global Underwriting Policy. Champion data quality and process enhancements This role will be ideal for recent graduates or those in their final year of study in Actuarial Science or related fields such as Mathematics, Data Science, or Statistics. We’re looking for curious minds with strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving. If you’ve gained hands‑on experience with data programming tools like SAS, SQL, R, or Python through your coursework or projects, you’ll be a great fit.
