Ngutu College is an independent, not‑for‑profit, socially just college on Kaurna Country in Woodville North, South Australia. We are seeking an exceptional Maths Educator to join our Senior Campus (Years 7‑12). The successful applicant will demonstrate strong philosophical and pedagogical alignment with Ngutu College, and hold a deep belief in children and young people as competent, capable learners with unique strengths, identities and stories. Maths Educator - Karra (Years 7-12) 0.6-1.0 FTE | Commencing: January 2026 About the Role Educators at Ngutu are innovators who embrace adaptability, flexibility and creativity as we continue to grow as a community. Educators at Ngutu College draw on pedagogy that is culturally responsive, inquiry-driven, and experiential. They create authentic opportunities for learning - both within the classroom and beyond. Educators work to support each learner to make measurable progress in literacy, numeracy, and other learning areas, while also nurturing wellbeing, identity, and agency. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess Maths learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum and informed by local and cultural contexts. Educators work collaboratively within teams of other educators and co‑educators (Classroom Support Officers), as well as the wider Ngutu College community. Understanding and addressing children’s learning and socio‑emotional needs through individualised planning and targeted support. Build strong, respectful relationships with learners, families, and community members. We are seeking educators who connect with Ngutu College’s philosophy and values. Experience with Aboriginal knowledge, culturally responsive pedagogy, project work, and inquiry‑based pedagogy will be highly regarded.
