We are currently seeking full time and part time Pathology Specimen Collectors for our Rockhampton Team. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding patient care & customer service, answering questions and easing concerns Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) in a safe, professional manner Label, handle, and process samples in line with strict protocols Maintain a clean and organised collection environment Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service What we are looking for We value people who put patients first and approach every interaction with professionalism and care. We're seeking candidates who bring enthusiasm, compassion, kindness and a willingness to learn. With availability Monday to Friday: 6.30am - 2.30pm and participation in a Saturday roster 7.00am - 10.00am To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or customer service. A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded. Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres and collaborate within a team Strong time management and problem-solving skills A willingness to learn and enjoy variety in your day A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before end of Probation period) Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive paid training program and receive an SNP training certificate on completion.
