Forbes Best Employer for Women .As a key member of the team reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, Australia & Asia, you will play a vital role in shaping and enhancing the Claims strategy and service offering. Your focus will be on leading our Claims teams as they provide exceptional support to our clients during the claims process.As the Head of Claims, you will be responsible for three main functions within the Claims division:Claims Advocacy: Provide claims advocacy services to ensure our clients receive the service and policy benefits they are entitled to in the event of a claimClaims Income: Generate revenue through claims preparation and related servicesClaims Administration for Self-Insured Clients: Manage claims for clients with unique self-insured or self-funded claims workIn this role, your key accountabilities will include:Developing and implementing the endorsed claims strategy and operating modelLeading the Claims function and supporting the Claims leadership teamDriving a culture of collaboration, relationship building, and excellent client serviceDelivering continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiativesManaging the Claims function budgets and financial outcomesMonitoring insurer performance and managing any delivery issuesSupporting our Asia broking operations in Claims advocacy and Claims Income activitiesBuilding and managing long-term relationships with external stakeholdersOverseeing the Gallagher Claims Handling and Settlement Services LicenceAssisting with large and complicated claims mattersKeeping abreast of market and claims trendsDeveloping Claims team members and succession plansTo succeed in this role, you will need strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, along with a commitment to delivering a positive experience for all clients. Additionally, the following experience and qualifications are required:Experience in a similar role within the Insurance or Financial Services industryProven service offering development and implementation capabilityOperational management and senior leadership experienceStrong understanding of insurance products and claims (both short and long tail)Ability to establish trust and effective relationships with a diverse range of individualsRelated tertiary and/or industry qualifications desirableGallagher Benefits –
