Looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity to make a difference in sustainable procurement policy in a State Government environment? Look no further Osborne Richardson are currently seeking an Associate Director, Policy to join a key NSW State Government agency in Sydney CBD, on a short-term contract, starting ASAP and ending on 31st July 2023.We are extremely confident that this role will then extend onwards.As our Associate Director, Policy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable procurement initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes promoting social, economic and environmental priorities.You will lead stakeholder engagement, consultation, and negotiation on sustainable procurement policy issues to develop solutions and deliver effective outcomes in a commercial context.

You will be required to undertake research, analysis, and review of complex policy issues, identifying emerging trends, and developing evidence-based options and strategies to ensure that problems are resolved and risks are mitigated.Your expertise will be needed to provide advice and information to inform relevant stakeholders and support policy directions.You will also develop and implement strategies to monitor and evaluate policy initiatives, identifying risks and issues and ensuring identified outcomes are achieved.You will prepare policy documents, reports, briefs, and correspondence that engage stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly and succinctly to deliver sustainable procurement outcomes.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in developing and implementing sustainable procurement initiatives, delivering measurable outcomes promoting social, economic and environmental priorities.You must have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, research and analytical skills, and experience in developing and implementing policies.
