As a Mechanical Plant Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our power station. You’ll be hands‑on with plant operations and maintenance, working in a supportive team environment where safety and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain power station equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal performance standards are met. Execute routine and non‑routine maintenance activities on Gas Turbines and associated equipment. Participate in incident analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support the planning and scheduling of daily and weekly activities, including participation in the site call‑out roster. Foster strong communication and positive working relationships across the Operations business unit. What will you bring? Applicable trade license and proven experience in a similar heavy industry role. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with solid computer literacy. Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Permit to Work systems. Organised, self‑starting approach with the ability to manage your workload independently. A commitment to safety, teamwork, and ongoing professional development. Knowledge of and understanding of HMI’s and SCADA systems highly regarded. So, why join us?
