Your role will involve both detailed drafting and thorough checking responsibilities to ensure quality and compliance across all project deliverables. Key responsibilities include Applying advanced knowledge of LGS framing systems and drafting principles across commercial, multi-residential, and residential projects Working closely with internal and external project teams including engineers, architects, builders, and consultants Preparing detailed design drawings, plans, elevations, and specifications based on architectural and engineering information Reviewing, checking, and updating drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project requirements Using CAD software to produce clear, organised, and fully coordinated documentation Applying Vertex BD / FrameCAD experience (preferred) to enhance design efficiency and accuracy Conducting site visits when required to confirm dimensions or project conditions Updating drawings based on consultant or client feedback Ensuring all designs meet NCC requirements, relevant Australian Standards, and project-specific engineering criteria Maintaining organised project files, documentation, and drawing records Participating in internal meetings to contribute to project planning and progress tracking Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in LGS drafting, architectural drafting, or structural detailing Qualifications in drafting, architectural design, structural engineering, or related fields Experience with LGS framing systems in commercial or residential environments Strong competency in AutoCAD; experience with Vertex BD, FrameCAD and/or Tekla Structures is highly advantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support collaboration across diverse project teams Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, compliant documentation Experience in structural steel detailing will be considered a valuable asset and can be further developed within this role Application Questions Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
