Shutdown workers / Maintenance Works - Cadia Mine Position: Shutdown Workers – Maintenance Works/ hosingLocation: Cadia Mine, Orange NSWEmployment type: Casual The Role: Cadia Mine is a world-class gold/copper operation near Orange, NSW. We are currently preparing for an upcoming shutdown period which will include essential maintenance work. The successful candidates will join a dedicated team ensuring related facilities are shutdown/maintained safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and hosing for shutdowns. Assist tradespeople with shutdown preparation tasks (clean‑up, minor works, handovers). Ensure all work is performed in adherence with site Safety, Health, Environment & Community (HSEC) standards. Report any damage, hazards or facility issues. Day shift/ nightshift available with weekends. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in shutdown/ maintenance works, preferably in a mining environment or remote site. Strong safety mindset. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Valid NSW driver’s licence with a vehicle (preferred) Be able to pass Drug and alcohol, pre‑employment tests and reliability is a must.
