White Leaf Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Armidale and Walcha, NSW on a permanent part-time basis. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. What you'll be doing Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and ensuring a smooth workflow Providing chairside assistance to dentists, anticipating their needs and handing them the appropriate instruments Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Ensuring the dental clinic is clean, organised, and well‑stocked with necessary supplies Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols What we're looking for Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency in sterilisation procedures and infection control practices A team‑oriented attitude and the desire to contribute to the overall success of the dental practice Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, are highly desirable What we offer At White Leaf Dental, we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
