Sheetmetal Fabricator – Multiple Positions Available Family owned and operated business Industry Metals specialises in the manufacture of metal roofing products and architectural cladding systems. Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team. Working out of our brand-new factory in Truganina we are looking for someone to work alongside our busy team and be a key member of our manufacturing process. AM / PM shift options available, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary Range $75-85K + superannuation. The role Configure and manage slitting machinery to slit material rolls according to customer requirements. Flashings/folding fabrication of Colorbond, Zinc, Copper and Aluminium products. Experience with Variobend machinery an advantage. Jobbing experience (Rainheads, sumps etc) an advantage. Oversee machine operations to guarantee product quality adheres to standards. Promptly troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. Ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations. Maintain production records. Read and interpret technical drawings. Qualifications Certificate IV in Engineering with 12 months workplace experience. Forklift license. Previous slitting/folding machinery operation experience. Ability to function both autonomously and collaboratively. Great problem-solving abilities. General housekeeping duties. Adhere to company WH&S & OH&S policies and procedures. About you Have good work ethics, be self-motivated and reliable. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Have the ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment.
