A Day in the Life Based in our vibrant Bowen Hills office, you’ll enjoy a flexible hybrid work model that balances collaboration and autonomy. What You’ll Do Champion quality from the start by embedding testing practices early in the development cycle and coaching teams to “own” quality. Lead the design and execution of robust testing strategies across web, mobile, and API layers — ensuring coverage from unit to end-to-end. Build and evolve automation frameworks that accelerate feedback, detect defects earlier, and enhance CI/CD performance. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define acceptance criteria, refine user stories, and ensure every release meets the highest standards. Apply advanced problem-solving to identify risks, analyse failures, and drive continuous improvement in testing methods and tooling. Take ownership of complex quality initiatives, balancing thoroughness with speed to deliver reliable, high-performing customer experiences. Mentor and guide team members, uplifting QA capability and fostering a culture of shared responsibility for quality. Lead initiatives that strengthen QA processes, reporting, and visibility — making quality measurable and central to how Entain delivers software. Your Strengths Proven experience in Quality Assurance and test strategy development across complex systems. Strong background in backend, API, and integration testing within distributed environments. Skilled in automation frameworks such as Playwright, with the ability to enhance testing across front-end, native, and API layers. Strategic thinker with the ability to influence teams and foster a culture of shared quality ownership. Excellent communicator and mentor, supporting collaboration across Product, Tech, and Design. Analytical, pragmatic, and focused on delivering reliable, high-performing software at speed.
