Volunteer will be required to provide companionship and support for patients and their relatives, including accompanying independent patients and wheelchair patients on walks with consent and assistance given by staff where required. Other duties include assisting patients with menu forms, offering fluids and setting up meals for bed ridden patients, reading and playing board games or cards with patients, keeping areas tidy and making tea/coffee on occasions. Public Transport stops at front of main entrance and there is limited parking available in Staff Car Park.
