Ventia’s Western Power contract is growing—and so is our team. We’re currently seeking experienced Lineworkers to be part of a dynamic workforce delivering essential services across WA. As a Lineworker, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and upgrading the Western Power network across both metropolitan and regional WA. This hands‑on role offers a mix of planned maintenance and project work, contributing to the reliability and resilience of the state’s electrical infrastructure. Key responsibilities Perform planned distribution work including replacing poles, crossarms, transformers, and switchgear Support network upgrade projects such as reconductoring and transformer replacements Contribute to network resilience initiatives, especially in regional areas Work across metro and regional WA, supporting infrastructure improvements Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in all field operations What’s in it for you Regular opportunities to work away, with generous allowances Ongoing overtime and weekend work available for those who want extra earning potential Flexible work arrangements to support work‑life balance Two rostered days off every fortnight A balanced mix of metro and regional work to keep things interesting Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) of up to $355 per day for regional travel Access to brand new tools, equipment, and fleet vehicles What we’re looking for Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead (UET30619) or equivalent Proven experience in electrical linework, including maintenance and upgrades EWP and High Risk Work Licences – DG, LF, CV or higher We’re open to covering relocation costs for the right candidate and encourage qualified Lineworkers from interstate and New Zealand to apply.
